Below is information about the command party for the sailors and families of the USS Carl Vinson. Please note, this is not an FRG event, and all questions should be directed to the ship’s MWR via your sailor. Happy Holidays!
TICKET SALES
We will have discounted rates for the first 1,625 attendees. As a caveat, each CARL VINSON sailor is entitled to purchase ONE additional guest ticket at their pay grade. Each guest ticket thereafter is $75. All guests must be at least 18 years of age. The last day to purchase tickets is 16 December.
E1 – E4: $15
E5 – E6: $20
E7 – O3: $25
O4 & above: $30
HOTEL ROOMS
The hotel will offer discounted room rates during the evening of the party. Please check with MWR for more information. The deadline for these rates is 9 December.
CHILDCARE
Childcare will be provided at a 1:5 provider/child ratio by the Navy CDC for children over the age of 1. Thanks to the FCPOA, Chiefs Mess, and Wardroom childcare will be provided from 1830-2030, at the party venue, for a discounted price of $5 a child for the first 50 children. The deadline to sign children up for childcare is December 9th.
PARKING & TRANSPORATION
There are many safe and cost efficient ways to travel to and from the holiday party. The MWR shuttle will be also be running to and from the ship and the entrance of the venue throughout the night. More information available via MWR.
