Navy League Scholarship Program

Alexander Kreiglowa Navy and Marine Corps Dependents Education Foundation Scholarship Program

This Scholarship Program was created to help young men and women who might otherwise not have the opportunity to attend college or the college of their choice.  Awards will be given up to $15,000.00/year for tuition, books, and fees for a maximum of four years.  It does not include room and board.

The criteria for eligibility are listed below:

Dependent child of active duty, retired, or deceased Naval Service (USN or USMC) resident of/residence in California.

  1. Graduating senior in the top 10% of High School Graduating Class.
  2. Evidence of acceptance (or letter of “Application Processing”) for Fall 2013 by a 4-year accredited college or university in the United States.
  3. Proof of financial need. (Documentation – FAFSA/IRS 1040 or 1040A)

All candidates must complete an Application.  If the candidate has had unusual or extraordinary financial hardship in the family, due to loss of job, income, or additional expenses, then they may also complete a Special Circumstance Form to be submitted with the Application Package. All Applications are due by March 29, 2013.
